On Wednesday August 22nd, the entire staff at TIPS received thorough first aid training.
Ms. Ebihara, an experienced professional first aid instructor, outlined the various methods used for different emergency situations with written instructions and videos which depicted realistic emergencies.
And then it was time to hit the mats.
The teachers separated into groups and practiced a number of first aid techniques on each other.
The entire TIPS staff is now certified in first aid, making our school a safer and better prepared one.
“It’s overall great for the school because we’re almost prepared for anything,” said Ms. Sato.
“It’ll make the out of town trips easier for us now.”
