Between September the 26th and the 28th, the TIPS Middle School went to Gunma prefecture, Uenomura near Mahoma No Mori, to spend three days immersed in nature.
Students had been busy in a wide array of activities that included T-shirt dying, dinosaur bone moulding, visiting a cave and enjoy the most amazing BBQ food among others.
On the first day, Wednesday the 26th, we stopped at Kanna Dinosaur Museum to wow at the vision of original dinosaur skeletons, to learn about the importance of the site and to create our own dinosaur bone out of plaster.
On the second day, we visited the nearby Fujido Cave after a short hike in the mountains. We went for our second daily activity in the afternoon, where we personalized and dyed our own T-shirts.
On the last day, we challenged ourselves by zip-lining in between trees at the Forest Adventure park just a short walk way from our lodge.
We woke up every day to enjoy breakfast all together and finished the day by having a great BBQ outdoor.
Students had fun and enjoyed all the activities. To see them exhausted, but smiling after three full days of activities was the best reward ever for us.
