Middle School Japanese Language and Culture Field Trip (5th Dec, 2018)

High school students joined Ms. Kimoto and Ms. Sato on December 4 on a trip to the Soka Senbei factory in Saitama to examine the process and taste the product of one of Japanese most iconic foods, senbei. The tour allowed the high school students and staff to grill their own rice crackers and season them with soy sauce. After lunch in a LaLaPort shopping center, the next stop was the Institute for Nature Study in Meguro, a hidden forest near Meguro station, where everyone enjoyed a beautiful, warm, breezy day in the height of fall beauty.
