Staff Spotlight: Ms. Melissa de Klerk

Ms. Melissa de Klerk has joined the staff at TIPS delivering weekly small group speech therapy sessions. Her five-member sessions help members be understood, a great feeling!

According to Ms. de Klerk, "Being able to work in an environment that is inclusive of children with special abilities and needs is such a blessing. I learn something new everyday from the students I have the opportunity to work with. They teach me to be more patient and to enjoy the small successes in life. Communication is about so much more than using words and it is my privilege to find out how each child communicates in their own unique way."
