Sports Day: April 9, 2021

On April 9th, students and staff made their way after lunch to the Meguro Chuo Gym for this year’s second Sports Day. But this was no ordinary Sports Day as it featured a dodgeball tournament organized by Mr. Mondino. The competition was intense to say the least as this tournament awarded ACE Store gift certificates to the winners. In the end, the Sharks, coached by Mr. Mondino and Ms. Batnini were proud, if battered, winners.

After a water break, students could choose to participate in badminton, basketball, ping-pong or futsal for the rest of the afternoon. Students had fun while the level of competition never waned. This was a stress relieving and much needed activity in a year of constraints.
