On Tuesday, May 9th, the HS students went on a field trip. The day started on the 4th floor of the Maruzen Marunouchi Bookstore, where there is a large section of English books. Following this, students sat down for lunch in a seating area close to Tokyo Station, which was also close by to the Imperial Palace Garden. In the afternoon, a visit to the Artizon Art Museum took place, where the students had an opportunity to enjoy a number of different artworks, with a heavy focus on Impressionism. Mindfulness was a concept that guided the organization of this trip, and students enjoyed the opportunity to be mindful of the books, nature, and art that surrounded them on the day.
