The Japanese Language and Culture program organized field trips for our G4-12 students from January 31 to February 2. During these excursions, students and teachers visited Shinohara Furin Honpo, a wind chime factory, where they had the unique opportunity to create their own wind chimes by blowing glass and painting the interior. Additionally, they explored the wonders of marine life in Tokyo Bay at either the Sumida Aquarium or Tokyo Sea Life Park. These one-day experiences provided our students with authentic insights into Japanese traditional crafts and the diverse marine ecosystem of Tokyo.
