Grade 5 Scientists

Grade 5 scientists learned that distillation and evaporation separate solids and liquids. We separated a saltwater solution using fire to evaporate the water from the salt. Additionally, we're learning about buoyancy, competing to see who could fit the most 100 yen coins on their foil boat. Our record was fifty-five 100 yen coins!
