On Friday, November 22 our grade 9 and 10 students had a memorable farm experience, learning sustainable practices of organic farming of winter crops, while exploring the 7,000 square-meter farm. They enthusiastically planted onion seedlings and uprooted different varieties of potatoes. The manual work was rewarding, and as a treat, they received fresh carrots. Lunch under the biggest tree in Yokohama was another highlight. The visit helped everyone appreciate the hard work farmers put into bringing food to our tables.
