Sculpture Class gets creative

In the early going for the Sculpture class, students have been creating wire trees in a variety of styles. Some are using steel wires and others are using copper.
The trees are ‘planted’ on either wood or stone bases or placed in rock garden inside a box.
Students will soon be expanding on these works and creating other art forms in different media reflecting their own taste and skills.
“I like the sculpture class because we get to make any kind of tree we want,” says 10th grader Haruki Kanazawa.
